November 17, 2018 - After a long deserved week off to visit family, Dick is back to work and happy to be joined by a few members of the UIC Unions United Coalition to discuss many of the issues facing many UIC workers. The nurses union has been negotiating with the University for a fair wage contract, but recently went on strike after a negotiations went south. We discuss how the unions are working together to strengthen rights of workers for the future. Local and national politics are up in the second hour, your calls and more.
As this weeks show closes, we are sad to report the passing of our long-time producer and good friend Theresa Barrett. She was a truly amazing person who brought light into the world of everyone she encountered, and will be missed by all.
